Host Dr. Eugene Zampieron ( www.drznaturally.com) interviews Dr. Peter Bongiorno. Dr, Bongiorno is a naturopathic doctor and licensed acupuncturist.  He is Vice-President of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Before medical school, he worked as a pre-doctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health and Yale University. He has co-authored numerous medical journal articles in the field of neuro-endocrinology. Dr. Bongiorno has also authored the complementary medicine chapter on natural medicine for depression in the psychiatric textbook The Biology of Depression (Wiley,2004) and has recently authored "Naturopathic and Integrative Medicine for Depression" which will be published in January of 2009 (CCNM Press). He maintains a private practice in Manhattan and Huntington, NY.
